Turkish Cargo starts A330F services to Bangalore

Turkish Cargo has started Airbus A330-200 Freighter flights to India’s third largest city Bangalore and the capital of the state of Karnataka.

The carrier said it is connecting freighters into Bangalore, as there is a high annual export potential of 170,000 tonnes to destinations across the Middle East.

Turkish Cargo said Bangalore holds central position in production of the aerospace industry, IT industry, computer and hi-tech products and referred to as the Silicon Valley thanks to its well-established export market.

The city also has a thriving exports markets including pharmaceuticals, perishabls (fruits and vegetables), electronics, engineering, valuable items and textile products.

Turkish Cargo operates a fleet of 330 aircraft including 20 freighters and the rest passenger aircraft, covering more than 300 destinations across the globe.
