Cargo volumes at Abu Dhabi International Airport declined by 5.5 per cent in April compared to the same month last year and posted a sharp drop in the first four months of the year.
The United Arab Emirates gateway handled 51,400 tonnes of freight in the month, down on the 54,382 tonnes that were processed in April 2017.
In the first four months of 2018, tonnage at Abu Dhabi International Airport was down by a significant 20.4 per cent to 193,893 tonnes on the 243,722 tonnes in the same period last year.
