Chinese express freight carrier SF Airlines reportedly plans to develop a cargo hub at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport according to reports.
The move follows the signing of a joint venture agreement between SF’s parent company SF Holdings, the Chengdu Municipal Government and Sichuan Airport Group on 25 December.
Once operational, the hub will operate as a multi-modal gateway to SF Express’s operations in western and southern China.
SF Airlines already has air freight hubs in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
