SAA concludes participation in Air Cargo India 2020

Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) participated in the three-day Air Cargo India 2020, which opened in Mumbai, India on Tuesday 25th February, as part of its strategy to communicate with decisionmakers and experts and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the air cargo sector in Asia and around the world.

The SAA delegation was keen to hold meetings with representatives from leading international  cargo companies to learn about the latest developments in the air cargo sector, especially technology and logistics solutions that can be used to improve the Airport’s services for air cargo companies and airlines. The Airport has achieved progress in the air cargo industry.

Our participation at this event was driven by our eagerness to communicate with regional and international partners, including international freight forwarders, air cargo carriers and logistics and ground-handling service providers. We also had the opportunity to showcase Sharjah Airport’s Air Cargo Centre’s services and facilities, and to hold discussions to improve the chances of attracting more international airlines and broadening the network that connects the Airport with several international air cargo terminals,” said HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, SAA Chairman.

The Indian market is important to Sharjah Airport, and our participation is a sign of our commitment to the region. In recent years, SAA has developed relationships with several air cargo companies from India and Asia, and we participated in order to strengthen these relationships,” His Excellency added
