Registration still open for CCA pharma and ACHL conferences

Registration is still open for the Cool Chain Association’s (CCA) 7th Pharma & Biosciences conference and the 11th Air Cargo Handling Logistics (ACHL) conference, taking place in Paris next month.

Organised by EVA International Media, publisher of Cargo Airports & Airlines Services (CAAS) magazine, both key industry events will take place at the Paris Marriott Charles de Gaulle Airport. The CCA event will be held from 23-24 September and ACHL from 24-26 September.

This year’s CCA theme is ‘Fixing the Final Mile’ and will discuss how the last mile can be improved and made more efficient, to benefit the pharmaceutical supply chain.

The agenda will include panel discussions and presentations on final mile innovation, drones, transparency and collaboration, data sharing and other important areas focused on the last mile of transportation.

Speakers will include UPS Europe vice president for healthcare, Niels van Namen; Bayer project manager for transport, Agnes Turek; Brussels Airport Company cargo business and product development manager, Nathan De Valck; and DHL Global Forwarding global head of network and quality, Nina Heinz.

Meanwhile, this year’s ACHL will be bigger than ever and feature panel discussions, presentations and tracks on pertinent air cargo industry topics. The event is hosted by Group ADP and Worldwide Flight Services (WFS).

The conference agenda will see key decision-makers from across the industry discuss the future of air cargo, gender diversity, e-commerce, infrastructure, digital transformation and a host of other important areas of business.

Speakers from across the globe will include IATA’s head of e-commerce and cargo operations, Brendan Sullivan; McKinsey & Company partner, Ludwig Hausmann; Swissport International’s head of global operations, Hendrik Leyssens; Unilode Aviation Solutions CEO, Benoît Dumont; and Emirates SkyCargo senior vice president of cargo operations, Henrik Ambak.

Over the three days, there will also be ample time for networking at a welcoming reception, during coffee breaks and at a networking dinner, giving delegates the opportunity to develop and build relationships and do business.
