In mid October the pilot of the Perishable Management App (PMA) was launched on the BRUCloud platform.
This application is intended to simplify work for the forwarders and FASFC by offering a central, digital platform for all communication and document exchange related to the inspection process of perishables. The application provides the necessary transparency by also incorporating data from the central airport database and ground handling agents.
This way the process of importing perishable goods via Brussels should become easier, faster and more transparent. The application is also accessible via mobile devices and will also allow FASFC and forwarders the ability to track the inspection status of shipments in real time.
