Paris-Vatry appoints Marcus Farrell as head of operations

Paris-Vatry Airport has appointed experienced aviation industry profressional Marcus Farrell as the head of operations and to its board of directors.

The airport operates two freight terminals with a total capacity of 12,000 square metres and the move is part of the airport’s passenger and cargo ongoing development plan.

Farrell has 28-years’ experience in the aviation industry, from legacy airlines to charter businesses, operating from Europe and beyond including at TWA, Transaer, Star, Air France, Qatar Airways and most recently with SAS Ireland.

Paris-Vatry – the city’s third airport after Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly – is working towards obtaining IATA’s CEIV Pharma certification by the third quarter of 2019.
