PACTL becomes the first air cargo terminal to introduce IATA DG AutoCheck

Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal Co (PACTL) has become the first air cargo terminal to introduce IATA’s newly developed DG AutoCheck as of 17 December.

The introduction of DG AutoCheck is expected to further improve PACTL’s DG acceptance accuracy and reduce checking process time.

PACTL said in a news release: “As one of the busiest air cargo terminals in the world, PACTL said it advocates air transport security as paramount criterion in daily operation. As a pioneer, PACTL hopes to constantly step up cooperation with IATA across the board and to be a vigorous practitioner in driving application of new technology to air cargo industry.”

Supported by DG AutoCheck, PACTL is able to realise more efficient and accurate DGD checking and DG acceptance on PC and mobile devices.

The DG AutoCheck supports functions of DGD online upload, checking the compliance of Shipper’s DGD, consignment package against latest IATA DGR. It is believed that IATA’s new technology will help to improve PACTL’s service quality for DG operation and ensure air transport security effectively.

Furthermore, PACTL said as a pioneer for the DG AutoCheck, it will also “contribute its experience to IATA for future system upgrading and advancement of whole air cargo industry”.
