Tobias Hofemeier has worked for 12 years in freight forwarding and the logistics industry including for TNT Express, Trans-o-Flex ThermoMed and has spent the last seven years at Kuehne + Nagel, starting as a Key Account Manager for Pharma, before relocating to Singapore to take charge of Sales and Marketing. In Europe, he is responsible for Kuehne + Nagel’s Pharma air freight product across Central and Eastern Europe and Western Europe.

Sabine, born in 1977, graduated with a master’s degree in International Business Administration. From a young age, her interest in airport life and its environment was strong. She already worked there alongside the school and studies. Since 2001 she has been working at the airport and was responsible for handling contracts. In 2008 she became Head of Export Cargo Handling. Two years later she climbed up the ladder again and took over the job of Director Cargo Services.

He is a strategic problem solver who envisions small solutions and executes with urgency across all levels of the organization. Wangyal is an outstanding strategist with a track record of success in highly competitive business markets. He is a graduate of St Joseph’s College.

Julian Sutch is commercially responsible for Emirates SkyCargo’s global pharmaceutical division having been appointed in August 2016.  He oversees the sales strategy, multinational tenders, global accounts and tri partite relationships. Julian has been in the logistics industry for 13 years since university, spending 10 of those in freight forwarding in Dubai predominately setting up the Middle East regional distribution for GlaxoSmithKline and opening an Pharma hub facility for API in the Dubai Airport Freezone. His last position was in a Middle East Carrier where he was the product/commercial manager for pharmaceuticals; spending 3 years in the product design, sales and operations.

Niels van Namen joined CEVA Logistics in August 2019 as the global lead for Healthcare. Before he joined CEVA Logistics, Niels lead the UPS Europe Healthcare team as the Vice President for Healthcare. Niels has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and life science industry of working closely together with customers across R&D, supply chain and manufacturing. Previous to UPS, Niels led the IBM Healthcare consulting practice in the Netherlands and then joined DSV to lead the global Healthcare industry. Niels is passionate about patient centric and demand driven supply chains and you can see his recent TED talk here.

In the last 14 years, Yoram led the Global Logistics Network of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, with a direct responsibility for a budget of more than $300m and more than 100 direct employees all around the world. Prior to Teva, Yoram spent 5 years in the US managing several areas of logistics. After retiring from Teva, Yoram started his consulting services, in Israel and abroad, in sectors such as: Logistics, Pharma, Investment Funds, Hi-Tech and more.

Eelco de Jong is the co-founder and Managing Director of Validaide B.V, a company founded in 2016 to support the logistics industry with innovative solutions for lane risk assessments and supplier management. Prior to Validaide, Eelco was Managing Director of Antaris Solutions where he was responsible for the SmartView real-time monitoring solution that was acquired by Berlinger & Co in 2014. He previously worked in various other business development roles and holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a MSc in Computer Science from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Ronald Schaefer is Assistant Director, Cargo / Ground Operations and CEIV Consulting as well as responsible for the CEIV Pharma Program at IATA. Before joining IATA, Mr. Schaefer accumulated vast experience in the air transport field working as a consultant for Lufthansa Consulting GmbH, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants GmbH and Ferrostaal México. At IATA he developed in conjunction with the IATA Pharma subject matter expert the CEIV Pharma pre-assessment tools and materials to facilitate successful independent validation of organizations. He is now managing the program worldwide. Since its start, he has managed 222 certifications, +250 assessments and 240 validations.

Charles (Chas) Petty, Program Manager for Product Development, is responsible for Delta Cargo’s temperature controlled product portfolio.  In this role, he ensures that Delta’s product offerings match customer expectations and adhere to regulatory and safety protocols. Chas is also responsible for verifying that Delta Cargo meets the standards set under IATA’s CEIV Pharma logistics certification. Finally, he coordinates with Delta Cargo’s global offices for commercial and operational capability support. Prior to joining Delta, Chas spent 12 years in various roles within the cargo industry including regional sales manager for the southeastern U.S., commercial strategy, pricing and capacity management.

As Global Head of Network & Quality at Temperature Management Solutions at DHL Global Forwarding/LifeConEx, Nina Heinz works with her team to cover a wide array of quality matters in regulatory compliance, audits, training, partner management, customer complaints and continuous improvement. Nina played a key role in the implementation of the global DHL Thermonet network of GDP-compliant life sciences stations, including the internal DHL Thermonet GDP guidelines, training programs and internal audit certification to ensure full regulatory compliance. Nina is an active full member of the Pharma.Aero, a cross-industry collaboration for shippers, CEIV certified cargo communities, airport operators and other air cargo industry stakeholders. She is a also a member of the IATA Time & Temperature Working Group as well as a member of the Steering Committee of the Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Interest Group (PCCIG) European branch within the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA).

In this role, Loraine is responsible for developing, implementing and delivering the EMEA & APAC intelligence strategy. Prior to her current role, Loraine worked in several roles in the security field within the Dutch government. She served as a Policy Advisor for the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. In this role, Loraine was responsible for the quality alignment of law enforcement in the Dutch Kingdom.

Christoph has assumed the role of Director of Global Pharma Sales at AirBridgeCargo (ABC) since the beginning of 2018 having spent a number of years working in pharmaceutical freight forwarding. He is responsible for all the global sales activities regarding the AirBridgeCargo pharma product and is the leader of dedicated sales team. Previous to his appointment at ABC, Christoph worked with many leading freight forwarders in the industry in the healthcare and pharma vertical department.

With a background in health care and being active for 15 years specifically in acute logistic processes in direct patient care within the University Hospital of Leuven, Frank joined Adelantex as business manager, where he was especially involved in the quality improvements of high sensitive products such as food, pharmaceuticals and live animal transports by air. Recently he has been appointed as the Secretary General of Pharma.Aero, a cross industrial foster organization improving the life science airfreight industry.

Since Paul joined the organisation, Peli BioThermal have experienced significant sales growth throughout their comprehensive range of thermal isolating parcel and bulk shipper products and services, which have been specially developed for the pharmaceutical and clinical trials market.

Nicola has over 20 years' experience in the Air Cargo Industry and has been involved in many different areas, roles, and projects. After gaining ten years’ experience in Cargo Operations Management, Nicola went on to be Quality and Risk Manager and then Security TAPA Asset Protection Project Manager. Nicola has been the group coordinator for both CEIV Pharma and CEIV Fresh standards for GHAz since IATA first developed and launched the certifications, as well as Pharma & Special Products Development Manager. Nicola is currently leading the Quality Department at SkyCell AG. Additionally, he serves as Secretary General of the Cool Chain Association (CCA) and is a member of IATA TTWG.

Jeroen Janssens, Sr. Manager Vaccines Distribution & Cold Chain at GlaxoSmithKline has more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 12 of those years with GSK Vaccines. After 9 years in quality assurance (QA), he spent 2 years at the Engineering department and 3 years at the Center of Excellence for Cold Chain within GSK Vaccines before moving to his current position within Global Vaccines Supply Chain. He is a Subject Matter Expert for cold chain supporting the global network of manufacturing and distribution sites with his technical expertise.
