Notter has held other senior industry roles including Vice President Cargo Operations at Qatar Airways and he was also previously Vice President Operations. Notter then moved onto his current role as Chief Ground Handling Officer at Saudi Airlines Cargo after joining the airline in 2014. He now currently holds various consultancy roles.

De Valck managed the CEIV pharma community certification program at BRUcargo making Brussels Airport the first cargo community in the world to be CEIV pharma certified. De Valck is co-founder and chairman of Pharma.Aero and a full member of the IATA Time and Temperature Working Group.

Fabrice, a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of experience in sales and business development, has had quite a diverse and interesting career path. Before venturing into the aviation industry, he served as an Instructor Officer-Lieutenant- in the French Army, showcasing his disciplined and leadership background. His aviation journey began in 1998 when he joined Air France as a Station Commercial Representative. Over the next few years, he made significant contributions to the company, particularly in the area of sales analysis and strategy development. As the Head of Studies and Statistics at the regional headquarters, Fabrice developed analytical tools that played a vital role in shaping sales decisions. In 2008, he transitioned to Air France KLM Cargo, where he initially took charge of Sales for Eastern France. Later, he joined the France Sales Management team, further advancing his expertise in sales. In 2013, Fabrice's career took an exciting turn as he became the Sales Manager & Developer for the France, DOM-TOM, Africa region of the Air France KLM Pharmaceutical Group. In this role, he established a vertical organization and fostered collaborations with local Pharma Associations, demonstrating his ability to create effective networks. Continuing his growth within the pharmaceutical logistics field, Fabrice became the Head of Product & Development for Pharmaceutical Logistics in January 2017. He led a global team responsible for supporting sales and operations in delivering high-end, time-sensitive pharmaceutical and biotechnology products. In 2019, he assumed global responsibility for Quality under GDP/QA Pharma, implementing performance enhancement programs and investment strategies for cool chain products. Since May 2020, Fabrice has been a part of Etihad Cargo, where he has taken on leadership roles in the Pharma and Fresh high-value goods segments and several innovative projects in addition to promoting Abu Dhabi as a Life Sciences and Food HUB. His expertise and passion for the industry have undoubtedly been invaluable to the organization. Beyond his professional achievements, Fabrice also holds a License level in History and has received distinction awards in various areas, including sports, the military, foreign languages, and IATA Quality and Risk Management for Temperature Controlled Cargo. These diverse interests and accomplishments reflect his well-rounded character. Currently based in Abu Dhabi, Fabrice is driven by a genuine enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge and energy to achieve tangible business targets. With his extensive experience and passion for the aviation industry, he continues to make a significant impact in his field.

Jeffrey P. Kemprecos, BA, MA, MIBS, is Director of Communications, Government Affairs & Market Access at GSK, a globally-leading healthcare company. Mr. Kemprecos is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he leads GSK’s policy advocacy across a wide range of health and pharmaceutical industrial issues. The scope of this work includes healthcare reform, intellectual property and trade-related issues, access to innovative medicines and vaccines, and regulatory harmonization.  Policies and legislation affecting competition, investment and innovation in the pharmaceutical sector constitute a primary focus.  Public policy work comprises two complementary missions—advocating legislation, regulations and policies that advance human health and strengthen the innovative medicines sector. Mr. Kemprecos has worked in the innovative biopharmaceutical industry across a variety of countries and regions for almost 30 years, including the Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia/Pacific regions, leading government affairs, public policy, communications and market access teams responsible for up to 140 countries. Mr. Kemprecos is currently serving in his second term as Chairman of the Intellectual Property Committee for the Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers Association in the Gulf (PHRMAG), Leader of the PHRMAG DOH Engagement Group, and is a member of the U.K. Business Council’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Working Group and the US Chamber of Commerce Gulf Business Council and Oman American Business Council. He also serves on the Abu Dhabi DOH Undersecretary’s Healthcare Council. Mr. Kemprecos is a native of Massachusetts.  He speaks Arabic, English, Turkish and French.  He is the father of 3 vivacious daughters and an avid fan of vintage automobiles.

Jimmy Nares is the Section Chief of Aviation Marketing for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD), which operates Miami International Airport (MIA).  His duties include forming and implementing cargo development marketing programs in the areas of perishables, pharmaceuticals, and manufactured products; and in air service development. He serves as MIA’s representative as a Strategic Member of the Pharma.Aero association whose mission is to advance the air pharma transport industry through international collaboration with other stakeholders.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of Miami-Dade County’s International Trade Consortium.  Prior to joining MDAD in 2015, Mr. Nares worked in Miami-Dade County’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade for 13 years.

 Mr. Nares holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida International University in Miami, Florida USA.

Prof. Dr. Yvonne Ziegler has been Professor of Business Administration with a special focus on International Aviation Management since 2007. From September 2010 to August 2013, she was Dean of the Department of Business and Law at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Between 1991 and 2006, she worked for the Lufthansa Group in various management positions in sales and marketing in Germany and abroad. From 2017-2020, she led the Pharma Supply Chain Risk Management research project, which was funded by the LOEWE3 research funding programme for outstanding scientific research projects of the State of Hesse. Currently, she is the managing director of the start-up Mytigate GmbH, which markets the research results of the research project. Since March 2021, she has represented the interests of the State of Hesse on the supervisory board of Condor Flugdienst GmbH.

He has a 20-year career in the airport sector, where he started as Cargo & Ramp Supervisor. He is currently involved in numerous international collaborations and in the development of technological innovation projects for the handling of pharmaceutical products. In parallel with his operational responsibilities, Andrea has dedicated himself to professional training with the role of air cargo trainer; since 2020 he is also responsible for the design and development of Alha Academy's pharmaceutical and special cargo training courses.

Sanjeev is the Founder and CEO of Astral Aviation Ltd which is a dedicated all- cargo airline based in Nairobi, Kenya and operates a fleet of fourteen cargo aircrafts into Europe, Middle East and within Africa.

Sanjeev is also the Founder of Astral Aerial Solutions Ltd which is a Commercial Drone Operator. Operating one of the most successful airlines in Africa for 20 years, Sanjeev is responsible for the overall management and fleet acquisition for Astral Aviation, along with their Pan African expansion strategy, which entails two new cargo hubs in West and Southern Africa, including diversification into Airport Infrastructure, Executive Jets and Unmanned Cargo Aircrafts. He has been honored as a “New Generation Leader for Africa” by the prestigious African Leadership Network, while Astral has been rated as the best all-cargo carrier in Africa in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 & 2019. In 2017, Astral Aerial (UAV/Drone subsidiary of Astral Aviation) won the prestigious ‘IATA Cargo Innovation Award for its UTM’ (UAV Traffic Management) innovation for Africa. In 2019, Astral Aerial was rated as ‘Africa’s Top 10 Tech Startups’ and selected by Airbus to participate in Bizlab #Africa4Future accelerator programme. In April 2019, Astral Aerial was recognized by World Bank as the Winner – Data Analytics of its Disruptive Agricultural Technology challenge. In September 2016, Sanjeev was appointed Vice Chairman of AFRAA’s Cargo Committee based on his extensive experience in the aircargo sector in Africa and was promoted as Chairman of the Cargo and Route Network Committee in November 2020. In October 2017, he joined the Board of TIACA (The International Air Cargo Association) being the first member from Africa and in 2019 was appointed Vice Chairman of TIACA which is a position he serves to date.
A banker by profession, he has an MBA in International Business, in addition to being a member of EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) of Kenya Chapter and YPO (Young Professional's Organization) of Africa Great Lakes Region.

Manu Jacobs currently serves as Managing Director Specialty Products at United Cargo. He joined United Cargo in July 2016, and is based out of Belgium. Manu oversees United Cargo’s suite of Specialty Products; Express, TempControl (Life Science & Pharma related), QuickPak, PetSafe (live animals), TrustUA (human remains) & UASecure (valuables). He is also one of the founding members of United’s Covid 19 Vaccine Readiness Task Force. Manu came to United with 15 years’ experience at Air France/KLM Cargo as Director of Global business Development for the Pharmaceutical Division. He holds a degree in Communications Management. Manu lives in Antwerp with his wife and two kids. In his free time he enjoys to ride the mountainbike (at a very moderate level) His native language is Flemish/Dutch and very fluent in English, French and a good understanding of German Working from the home office since March 2020; Manu misses the travel and the face-to-face interaction with the team and customers.

Tomal (Tom) Sohorab is the manager of Cargo Solutions Strategy and Business Development at Air Canada Cargo. He is responsible for the maintenance and development of specialized cargo commodities such as pharmaceuticals, perishables, valuables, live animals, human remains, and serves as the conduit for approvals of GPS and data logger technology. Tom has 13+ years of airline experience in operations, sales, project management and product development of new services for passenger and cargo business. In 2018, Tom led the first IATA CEIV Live Animal program to award Air Canada Cargo the highest certification recognizing the rigorous level of safety and quality in animal transportation. In 2020 Tom served as a Subject Matter Expert for Air Canada Cargo’s CEIV Pharma certification. In 2021, Tom was the architect behind the AC Pharmacair revamp. Tom regularly attends the IATA LAPB and TTWGs and is serving as a member of the IATA Interactive Cargo Task Force. Tom received his BA and International Project Management degree from the University of Toronto. He is a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.

Mr. József Kossuth is the head of cargo for Budapest Airport. He joined Budapest Airport Zrt (BUD) in 2008. He is responsible for managing the airport cargo business development, sales and marketing, and he co-ordinates the work of the air cargo community. His mission is to support the development of the air cargo industry in the Central Eastern European region and improve the air cargo environment for all air cargo business partners. He works with passion to increase the regional cargo hub role of BUD utilizing the expanding cargo potentials in the Central Eastern European region. Mr. Kossuth has spent his entire carrier in the Aviation Industry. From 2003 he worked as Assistant Fuel Manager for Malév Hungarian Airlines, Sales Manager of Airport Fuel Supply Ltd. subsidiary of (BUD), responsible for fuel service purchasing, sales, and marketing activities. From 2008 to 2014, he worked as Controlling Manager for BUD. His task was dealing with capital expenditure and airport development projects of the airport and other controlling activities, and he joined the air cargo business department of BUD in 2015. Besides, he is the Board Member of Association of Logistic Service Centres in Hungary, Head of the Aviation Working Group of the Freight Forwarder Association in Hungary and represents the association in the international aviation working group of FIATA. József Kossuth has gained a Master of Economy specialized in Management from the University of Miskolc in Hungary in 2003.

In 2014 Andy Faes assumed his current position at Expeditors offices in Brussels, Belgium where he is primarily responsible for developing and managing the company’s Healthcare Vertical for Europe. Faes started his logistical career in 1999 with American Airlines in various commercial roles for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. Faes moved to London in 2007 to join their Cargo Division for EMEA and becoming chairman of American Airlines Cargo Sales Advisory Board. In 2009 Faes set up AA Cargo Temperature Controlled Services EPXTC for the region, training 3,000 colleagues towards GDP compliance.

Walter has held his current position, Head of Distribution Platform Frankfurt since 2014. His role includes the responsibility of local German distribution of total Sanofi group portfolio as well as worldwide export of several Sanofi products. Walters previous roles at Sanofi include Director Supply Chain/ Purchasing and Director Commercial Affairs, SC and Customer Care. Walter began his career at Hoechst Austria as an apprenticeship laboratory assistant, which later led to Walter gaining the position as Head Materials Management Area Central Europe. Prior to Sanofi, Walter worked as Director Purchasing / Supply Chain at Aventis Pharma. In his spare time Walter enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, cycling and spending time in the flight simulator.

Mr. Hassan is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he leads GSK’s supply and export operations to customers in the Gulf and Near East countries The scope of this work includes securing supply to meet regional demand. This encompasses planning supply from global manufacturing sites, coordinating import operations and managing the distribution hub in Jabal Ali, United Arab Emirates. Mr. Hassan also oversees export and freight operations to customers. The management of inventory levels in the markets lay within his scope, as he works to ensure availability and on time delivery for GSK pharmaceutical and vaccine products. Mr. Hassan has worked in supply chain operations across a range of industries, including food manufacturing, logistics service providers, courier and freight operations, FMCG, and the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Hassan is a native of Jordan.  He speaks Arabic and English.  He is a father of an adorable daughter and son. He is a qualified, specialist diver, and a fan of food and travel.

Julian has been in the logistics industry for 13 years since university, spending 10 of those in freight forwarding in Dubai predominately setting up the Middle East regional distribution for GlaxoSmithKline and opening an Pharma hub facility for API in the Dubai Airport Freezone. His last position was in a Middle East Carrier where he was the product/commercial manager for pharmaceuticals; spending 3 years in the product design, sales and operations.

Shawnpaul has over 20 years’ experience in air cargo and logistics, starting his career in freight forwarding before moving to the GSSA/GHA side of the business.  Now in his 16th year with WFS, Shawnpaul is part of the Senior Leadership Team overseeing all WFS’ North American Cargo operations and heads various special projects within his current role including serving as the functional North American lead of WFS’ Project Coldstream taskforce formed to coordinate the handling of the global transport of the COVID19 vaccine.  Prior to this, he served as the Vice President Cargo Operations Southeast – leading one of WFS’ largest hub operations at MIA, responsible for the handling of over 600m kilos per year and collaborating with the airport on becoming one of the first airports and handling companies in the Americas to hold both IATA CEIV and GDP Pharma certifications.

Mr Marcel Kuijn (42) has a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He joined KLM in 2002 and gained commercial and operational experience in various managerial positions at KLM, Air France-KLM and its Cargo division. Mr Kuijn joined Cargo in 2016 as Director of Pricing. In his current position, Mr. Kuijn is responsible worldwide for the pharmaceutical business at Air France KLM Martinair Cargo. He previously held positions at various Passenger division departments, including Digital Marketing and Global Account Management. Before joining Cargo in 2016, Mr. Kuijn was Commercial Director of South America for Air France-KLM. Mr Marcel Kuijn is married and a father of 2 children.

Rodriguez has a strong background in operations and commercial management in the aviation and hospitality industries. He has been responsible for the IATA CEIV Pharma and Fresh certifications in his previous company and is currently leading the IATA CEIV Live certification for Qatar Airways Cargo and its Hub in Doha after successfully obtaining the IATA CEIV Pharma certification in December 2020.
