With a background in health care and being active for 15 years specifically in acute logistic processes in direct patient care within the University Hospital of Leuven, Frank joined Adelantex as business manager, where he was especially involved in the quality improvements of high sensitive products such as food, pharmaceuticals and live animal transports by air. Recently he has been appointed as the Secretary General of Pharma.Aero, a cross industrial foster organization improving the life science airfreight industry.

Trevor Caswell joined the Edmonton International Airport (EIA) in 2017 with the Air Service Business Development Unit. In his role, Trevor is responsible for effectively executing air service development priorities, while cultivating strong relationships with the freight forwarder and business community, airline partners and key stakeholders at the airport. Trevor has held various roles in aviation for over 19 years, including VP of Airport Services, Director and Manager Roles. He has over 12 years’ management experience in domestic and international logistics including air, ocean, rail, and truck freight.  Trevor led Edmonton International Airport (EIA) to be the first IATA CEIV Certified Community Airport in Canada and third in North America. He sits on the Board of Directors for Pharma.Aero as Vice-Chairman, responsible to project development.  Other key business development verticals includes oil and gas sector, industrial products, perishable products, high value added temperature control goods, pharmaceuticals, bio-pharma, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, agricultural food sector, food ingredients and protein development.  Trevor graduated with honours from Georgian College in Aviation Management, & completed his Master’s Degree in Aviation Management (MAvnMgt) Griffith University in Australia.

From 2017-2020, she led the Pharma Supply Chain Risk Management research project, which was funded by the LOEWE3 research funding programme for outstanding scientific research projects of the State of Hesse. Hi is also Managing Director of Modalis which is a dynamic logistics consultancy specialising in pharmaceutical and temperature-controlled logistics. His pharmaceutical projects at Kindeva and Modalis have included setting up a GDP-compliant operation from scratch, design and implementation of various cost-saving programmes which have delivered multi-million dollar savings as well as improving sustainability through CO2 savings. Prior to Kindeva he was Regional Freight Lead at AstraZeneca with responsibility for all freight in and out of the EMEA region. Successes included setting up a train service for shipments from Sweden to China delivering savings of $8m over an 18-month period whilst improving Quality performance. 4 sites were successfully transitioned into the new global logistics function under Mark’s watch as well as ensuring AZ were Brexit-ready from a freight and Customs perspective. Before AZ, he was Global Freight and Compliance Manager at Actavis where he was responsible for all aspects of international logistics and was the subject matter expert for transportation, warehousing, Incoterms, Customs’ compliance, Good Distribution Practice and new product launches. Amongst his many achievements were consolidation of the supply chain from over 200 transport providers down to just 2, the introduction of GDP compliance & temperature control to all shipments at no additional cost to the business and a 100% OTIF first to market success for all of Actavis’ new product launches.

Jimmy Nares is the Section Chief of Aviation Marketing for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD), which operates Miami International Airport (MIA).  His duties include forming and implementing cargo development marketing programs in the areas of perishables, pharmaceuticals, and manufactured products; and in air service development. He serves as MIA’s representative as a Strategic Member of the Pharma.Aero association whose mission is to advance the air pharma transport industry through international collaboration with other stakeholders.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of Miami-Dade County’s International Trade Consortium.  Prior to joining MDAD in 2015, Mr. Nares worked in Miami-Dade County’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade for 13 years.

After one year in Consulting with Nestle in Indonesia and his military service with ETA of the Greek Army's Special Forces, he joined Athens International Airport S.A., still under formation at the time. Upon AIA’s opening in 2001, he assumed the role of Manager Cargo Development and Chairman of the Airport Cargo Community Committee, a unique cluster comprising various on- and off-airport stakeholders, and successfully spearheaded AIA’s endeavors to place Athens on the world cargo map. In 2016, Alexis additionally assumed responsibility for the whole ground-handling sector at AIA, with the vision to promote the growth and development of new ventures within the airport community, anew through a true synergetic approach. From 2014-2017, Alexis served as Vice Chairman of the Institute of Logistics Management Greece (HILME). Alexis is a European Senior Logistician (ESLog), an accredited Airport Professional (IAP) as well as a Master Practitioner in NLP. Before venturing into the aviation industry, he served as an Instructor Officer-Lieutenant- in the French Army, showcasing his disciplined and leadership background. His aviation journey began in 1998 when he joined Air France as a Station Commercial Representative. Over the next few years, he made significant contributions to the company, particularly in the area of sales analysis and strategy development. As the Head of Studies and Statistics at the regional headquarters, Fabrice developed analytical tools that played a vital role in shaping sales decisions. In 2008, he transitioned to Air France KLM Cargo, where he initially took charge of Sales for Eastern France. Later, he joined the France Sales Management team, further advancing his expertise in sales. In 2013, Fabrice's career took an exciting turn as he became the Sales Manager & Developer for the France, DOM-TOM, Africa region of the Air France KLM Pharmaceutical Group. In this role, he established a vertical organization and fostered collaborations with local Pharma Associations, demonstrating his ability to create effective networks. Continuing his growth within the pharmaceutical logistics field, Fabrice became the Head of Product & Development for Pharmaceutical Logistics in January 2017. He led a global team responsible for supporting sales and operations in delivering high-end, time-sensitive pharmaceutical and biotechnology products. In 2019, he assumed global responsibility for Quality under GDP/QA Pharma, implementing performance enhancement programs and investment strategies for cool chain products. Since May 2020, Fabrice has been a part of Etihad Cargo, where he has taken on leadership roles in the Pharma and Fresh high-value goods segments and several innovative projects in addition to promoting Abu Dhabi as a Life Sciences and Food HUB. He is an alumnus of numerous advanced management and leadership programmes from world-class institutions, including -The School of Business Leadership of the University of South Africa, McGill Executive Institute, Canada; Lagos Business School, Nigeria; Harvard Business School, USA; Haas Business School of the University of California, Berkeley, USA; The University of Westminster, United Kingdom and FedEx Purple Academy, Belgium where he excelled as the Purple Star Award Winner in 2006. Olusola is also a Member of the Institute of Directors (IOD) of Nigeria; Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (Chartered); Fellow of the Institute of Business Development, and Fellow of the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He sits on the Councils of the Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce,the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce and some not-for- profit organizations. Before joining NAHCO Plc in May 2022, as the Group Executive Director, Business & Corporate Services, Olusola had served as the Group Managing Director/CEO of Red Star Express Plc(Licensee of FedEx Corporation) between 2016 and 2022.
