180 delegates from airlines, cargo handlers, freight forwarders and suppliers met this year for the 4th Air Cargo Handling conference in Paris, our 2012 event which was hosted by Worldwide Flight Services.

The Conference was opened by Chris Notter, Head of Cargo Handling for Etihad Airways, and he presided as Chairman for one and a half days of presentations, panel discussions and working groups.

Delegates enjoyed lively and forthright debates, focusing on the need for greater partnership, cooperation and communication between members of the fragmented air cargo supply chain, and so provide a strong justification for the value of cargo to airlines and airports together with an enhanced understanding of the importance of the industry.

The event adopted Save the Children as their chosen charity and raised €7,275 towards their worthwhile projects.
