Day one of the Cool Chain Association’s Fourth Pharma and Biosciences Conference, held at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai, opened with an energetic call to action by conference chairman Sebastiaan Scholte (CEO of Jan de Rijk Logistics). “It’s up to us, collectively, to decide whether we are just going to talk and listen, or really make a difference,” he said, after pointing out the practical contributions CCA and IATA have made so far in creating a set of standards for the transport of pharmaceutical shipments by air.
