New 700,000 square foot warehouse slated for ANC

Alaska Cargo and Cold Storage, LLC (ACCS) intends to break ground, in Q4 of 2021, on a 700,000-square-foot cargo & cold storage facility at the world’s sixth busiest air cargo airport, the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC).

The ACCS development is the second fully executed lease agreement of five proposed cargo projects at ANC. “ANC’s location on the globe is critical to the air cargo network,” said Airport Director, Jim Szczesniak. “This new facility will enhance the efficiency of the global supply chain and ANC’s position as The Center of the Air Cargo World. The more than 200 widebody cargo freighter operations per day can utilize a new asset at ANC. The new facility will provide an additional mechanism for the air cargo industry to take advantage of ANC’s liberal cargo transfer rights and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).”
