Network Airline Management adds freighter flights to Johannesburg

Network Airline Management (NAM) has introduced a new twice-weekly scheduled B747F service from its European hub in Liege (LGG) to Johannesburg (JNB).

NAM said the new route would “diversify its destination portfolio further but also opens up new opportunities and services into Johannesburg which enables the Group to cover even more of the African continent”.

The company offers Road Feeder Services within South Africa and to onward destinations such as Gaborone, Harare, Lilongwe, Lusaka, Walvis Bay, Windhoek and various others.

Neil Ledingham, customer service manager at the firm’s London Gatwick HQ, said: “We are delighted to be announcing this new scheduled service into Johannesburg and offering even more regular destinations for our customers. This new routing could potentially see more than 200 tonnes of cargo transported every week.”

Earlier this week NAM announced that it would extend its operation at the Belgian airport for another three years.
