NCA signs codeshare agreement with Cargolux

Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) has entered into a codeshare agreement with Cargolux Airlines International on freighter services.

The partnership will start on 27 March and be on the Tuesday 19:40h (local time) Cargolux flight from Luxembourg Airport to Tokyo’s Narita International Airport. It is subject to relevant government approvals.

NCA said: “We believe that this codeshare scheme with CV adding a flight from LUX to NRT will surely enhance our service offerings.”

Last week, NCA announced it had formed a strategic business partnership with All Nippon Airways, subject to the authorisation of relevant authorities.

Within the first half of the fiscal year 2018, ANA and NCA will add codeshares to each other’s flights. It will include NCA’s B747Fs to North America and Europe, and ANA’s Boeing 767 operation to China and Asia while ANA will soon utilise Boeing 777Fs.

Last month, NCA also penned a codeshare agreement with Singapore Airlines Cargo on services between Tokyo and Singapore which will start on 1 April this year. NCA operates six weekly services to Changi Airport from Narita and SIA two daily flights to Narita and three a day to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.
