Messe München signs MoU with TIACA for ACF, acquires STAT Trade Times shows

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) and Messe München have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will see the two organizations work closely together on TIACA’s Air Cargo Forum (ACF) and Exhibition.

Under the MoU, Messe München will organise ACF, while TIACA remains in control of the content of the conference.

TIACA will also be a strategic partner at Messe München’s “transport logistic” events in Munich; Germany, Shanghai; China, and Istanbul; Turkey.

The next ACF will take place in Miami, Florida, USA, where TIACA is headquartered. The idea is to organise the event in a fixed location every two years and with the support and knowledge of Messe München, to transform it into a “real logistical intermodal event”.

TIACA will retain editorial control of all content for the conference programs of the ACF and continue to organise the Executive Summits at different corners in the world.

Messe München, which runs biennial events Air Cargo Europe in Munich and Air Cargo China and annual Logitrans Istanbul has also acquired Air Cargo Africa and Air Cargo India from STAT Trade Times. The next Air Cargo Africa will take place in Johannesburg from 19 – 21 February 2019 with Air Cargo India following in 2020.
