Lufthansa Cargo's Florian Pfaff switches to new role in Asia

Lufthansa Cargo vice president (VP) for GermanyFlorian Pfaff – will move to Asia with effect from 1 June 2019 – taking on the role of VP Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore, he will continue to report directly to chief commercial officer, Dorothea von Boxberg. A successor for his present position is currently being sought.

Pfaff began his career at Lufthansa Cargo in 1989 and as VP Germany since May 2011, he has headed the German carrier’s entire sales and handling activities in its home market Germany.

Meanwhile, Pfaff’s predecessor in Singapore, Frank Naeve, has been appointed Lufthansa Group vice president airline sales for the Americas. He will take up his new position, based in New York City, during April 2019.
