Lufthansa Cargo adjusted its MD11 freighter route to South Africa last month as since 1 June it has been operating non-stop from Frankfurt Airport to Johannesburg International Airport.
Previously the German carrier had been making a stop in Nairobi (Kenya) on the three-weekly route, although it continues to operate via Nairobi on the return leg.
