Locus Robotics raise $25 million to fulfill e-commerce orders

Locus Robotics, whose fleet of robots help to fulfill e-commerce deliveries in the logistics and supply chain, has raised $25 million is a round of funding led by Scale Venture Partners.

The robots aim to partner with warehouse workers to handle goods more efficiently and use sensors to pick items and move on, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.

DHL has already placed its confidence in Locus’ robots as a customer and the robotics company is looking to explore further into e-commerce fulfillment and the supply chain.
