Kuehne + Nagel UK has opened a new overland hub at its East Midlands Gateway and it features 40,000 square feet of temperature controlled warehouse space for pharmaceuticals.
The development also includes 155,000 square feet of cross-dock area for general cargo, and the new flagship facility will provide the platform for the continued expansion of the company’s overland business.
Strategically located close to J24 of the M1 the new site will combine activities currently carried out in Birmingham and Nottingham and in total 270 employees will relocate to East Midlands Gateway.

The site will be fully operational by the end of April, and is the first completed structure at the East Midlands Gateway site.
