Kawak certified to repair 757-200 cargo door hydraulic components

US-based Kawak Aviation Technologies has earned Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part-145 Air Repair Station certification that enables it to perform maintenance, repair and overhaul services on Precision Aircraft Solutions Boeing 757-200 cargo door hydraulic components.

Kawak is the sole manufacturer of cargo door hydraulics for the Precision Aircraft Solution 757-200 cargo aircraft and will now be the first Part 145 repair station for them as well.

Initially, Kawak’s repair station will be focusing on the Precision Aircraft Solutions Boeing 757-200 cargo door conversion hydraulics. However, Kawak is planning to expand capabilities in the near future in support of a broader customer and product range.

President, Mike Reightley said: “Earning this FAA certification as a Part 145 FAA Repair Station adds an important new dimension to the work we do every day in support of our current and future customers in the aviation industry.”

Based in Oregon, Kawak Aviation Technologies designs, manufactures, and maintains aircraft auxiliary hydraulics, helicopter firefighting systems, aerial agriculture systems, aircraft flight controls, and AC and DC electric motors for aviation applications.
