JAS Forwarding to use cargo.one digital platform for air freight capacities

JAS Forwarding will work closely with the online booking platform cargo.one for the booking of air freight capacities.

The cargo.one platform provides JAS Forwarding service teams with real-time access to the freight capacities of several airlines.

Their offers for routes can be compared on cargo.one and booked directly with one click at dynamic spot rates. cargo.one thus replaces the time-consuming, manual ad-hoc pricing process with a time-efficient process.

JAS Forwarding air freight director for Germany, Gordon Reinke said: “We tested the cargo.one platform extensively and were always in close contact with the teams on both sides.

“The joint product development convinced us that the cargo.one software would help us optimize our processes. Booking processes are significantly accelerated and the current spot rates allow us to always offer our customers the best options.”

cargo.one co-founder, Oliver T. Neumann added: “JAS Forwarding and cargo.one use the strong partnership and their complementary expertise to further develop the cargo.one platform and advance future key air freight technologies. The focus of this collaboration is on the digitalization of air freight pricing, booking and tracking of air freight shipments.

“The air freight industry is still largely analogous and offers great potential for optimization and faster processes. That’s exactly what we can offer with cargo.one. JAS Forwarding recognized this early on and we are pleased to be supporting a leading logistics service provider in the digitization process.”
