In Memoriam: MSA Security Chairman Mike O’Neil

Recognizing rapid changes in the threat spectrum, he established MSA’s Intelligence Analysis and Hostile Surveillance Specialist programs, enhancing our support of evolving client needs. He successfully positioned MSA as a premier security provider to US government agencies and the rapidly evolving air cargo industry.

Prior to joining MSA, Mike served in the NYPD for 22 years, retiring at the rank of Inspector. He was a selfless and dedicated first responder on September 11th and throughout the months of recovery that followed. Mike had the honor of serving as the First Commanding Officer of the NYPD Counterterrorism Division, which he was instrumental in establishing following 9/11.

Mike brought wisdom, wit, and honesty to his relationship with all of us. He led MSA with a conviction and determination that encouraged people to succeed. Many of you knew him as a dear friend, a testament to his character and memory. Information on services will be shared once available.

While I regret to share this sad news, I am committed to continuing Mike’s legacy at MSA by sustaining our dedication to each and every client and enhancing the critical services we provide. Please do not hesitate to reach out if any of us at MSA can be of support through this difficult time.

Regards, Glen Kucera
