IAG Cargo, the cargo division of the International Airline Group (IAG) has surprised a family in London with traditional home-made Diwali treats, directly from their Delhi-based family. The gesture comes at a time when the business is gearing up for a busy Diwali period, when it transports tonnes of festive goods, including sweets, home-made treats, lanterns, lamps, traditional clothes and artefacts, across the world.
IAG Cargo decided to help Mr. Ashish Asaf from S.A Group, a customer based in India, when it became aware that he would be unable to spend Diwali with his family due to work commitments and COVID-19 restrictions. To help bring the family together at this special time, the IAG Cargo team arranged for a box of home-made traditional sweets to be transported from Delhi to his children in London.
