Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) – Hong Kong’s largest independent cargo handler – has once again been named “Air Cargo Handling Agent of the Year” at the World Air Cargo Awards.
Hactl has now received the honour nine times in the seventeen years of the competition. As with previous years, all awards were based on the voting of readers of Air Cargo Week from around the world.
Hactl Chief Executive Wilson Kwong accepted the award at a glittering ceremony in Munich, in front of an international audience of air cargo executives attending the Air Cargo Europe exhibition and conference.
This year’s live presentation was the first since 2019, after which pandemic travel restrictions caused the suspension of both Air Cargo Europe and sister show Air Cargo China, which normally host the event.
After the presentation, Kwong said: “Coming back to Munich, and winning this award again in front of a live audience, is a great honour that brings back memories of happy past times.
“It also inspires us to redouble our efforts to continue earning the support and recognition of our valued customers.
“We thank those who took the time and trouble to vote for us, and I dedicate this award to my amazing team for their constant devotion to duty throughout the exceptional challenges since 2019.”
