Geert Aerts will be the new Director Cargo & Logistics at Brussels Airport. With a background as industrial engineer, Aerts has been active in aviation for 17 years at CAE Inc, where he has been Regional Operations Director Europe, Africa & Middle-East since 2014. At CAE Inc he was responsible for the management of a network of 16 flight simulator training centres and flight schools in this region, including at Brussels Airport. With his experience in working for a global company within a complex environment with many stakeholders and with his focus on the client, on cooperation and innovation, he is the right candidate to take over the helm of the cargo department at Brussels Airport.
