Finnair Cargo has appointed R-BAG Group as its general sales and service agent (GSSA) for five different central European countries.
From 1 May this year, the GSSA will provide cargo sales, marketing, customer service, administration and operational support for Finnair in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Austria.
The airline hailed the agreement as said it continues to develop and expand its capacity and frequencies across Europe and Asia.
Finnair Cargo sales director for Europe, Anja Poyhonen said: “I’m excited to start the co-operation with R-BAG group. R-BAG has many capabilities that are essential to support Finnair’s growth.
“R-BAG´s local market knowledge, their network and good connections to the pharma industry will provide a good ground for strong support to our customers.”
R-BAG managing director, Eva Van Baaren-Horvath added Finnair’s network with a focus on Asia operated by new A350s, its new COOL Nordic Cargo Hub and cargo products are “tailor-made to match requirements of every customer are perfect solution for customers looking for reliable and high quality services”.
