Etihad, currently beginning the process of phasing out its A330-200F freighter fleet, has stated that this a completely normal practice.
The freighter aircraft have not seen activity in a week, a process that is seen as normal by the Middle Eastern carrier.
Etihad stated that it is normal practice for an airline to review aircraft requirements and change when necessary.
