Emirates has launched a new four times weekly belly-cargo service to Porto which is its second destination into Portugal as it also services Lisbon.

The inaugural Boeing 777-200LR flight, EK197, touched down at the city’s international airport on Tuesday afternoon (2 July), marking the start of the airline’s first service to northern Portugal.

The airline’s freight division, Emirates SkyCargo, will offer up to 15 tonnes of cargo capacity per flight on the new Porto service, enabling more opportunities for local businesses to export and import goods.
