EFL launches weekly charter service to Pittsburgh to meet demand from global brands

EFL has launched an exclusive weekly charter to Pittsburgh International Airport as part of its “continuous efforts to developing innovative solutions for global brands”.

The inaugural shipment was moved on a Boeing 777 Freighter operated by Qatar Airways Cargo from Doha International Airport to Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.

The weekly Pittsburgh flight follows the hub and spoke model, and collaborating with Qatar Airways Cargo enables EFL offices in the Far East and Indian Sub-continent to access capacity without interruption.

EFL said: “This latest solution showcases our expertise in designing fit-for-purpose air freight solutions offering customers a total transit time of 72 hours to get cargo from Asia and move it out the same day to regional distribution centres and retail stores in the US.

“Our solutions offers global brands the option of consolidating their cargo from multiple sourcing markets, leverage on just-in-time inventory models and optimize the supply chain.”
