ECS Group #NexGenLeaders challenge sees strong participation

The ECS Group’s #NexGenLeaders challenge launched at the beginning of January has brought together over 1000 participants of more than 50 different nationalities.

They all submitted their innovative solutions to regenerate the freight industry before the closing date for the first stage of the challenge, 3 March.

The submitted projects then underwent an initial selection process in which 50 innovative solutions (24 teams of students, 16 teams of startups and 10 teams of employees) were chosen to receive a month and a half of coaching from VIP Mentors (experts from the industry) and ECS Group managing directors.

The general sales and service agent (GSSA) says it is an excellent opportunity for all these talented people to be given expert advice that will help them make their projects into reality and best meet the needs of the industry.

“This challenge has been more successful than we could ever have hoped and we’re so excited about it! Our industry is always on the lookout for innovation. By opening its doors, we’ve made it even more appealing, and we’re extremely proud of our contribution to the sector’s development,” says ECS Group chief executive officer, Adrien Thominet.

The coaching will take place until the final selection stage in early May, following which 10 projects will remain in the running. The Grand Jury will then choose the three best teams and reveal its choice at the renowned Gala Awards Ceremony in Munich on 5 June.
