E-commerce dominates Black Friday orders

E-commerce has once again proved its importance and ubiquity in global shopping sales with figures announced after the Black Friday sales.

The BBC reported that 1.4 billion GBP was spent on online sales in the UK alone on the unique shopping event day.

Physical sellers did not do so well with figures down by 3.6% on places such as shopping centres and high streets.

Logistics companies such as Amazon have boosted these sales, with some predicting that Amazon orders may have taken 40-50% of the total e-commerce revenue.
