DWC welcomes Chinese carrier Uni-top Airlines

Dubai World Central (DWC) – the world’s 22nd busiest cargo hub by international freight volumes – welcomed the Chinese carrier Uni-top Airlines’ inaugural flight from Kunming Changshui International Airport on Tuesday (30 October).

The carrier will utilise a Boeing 747F between the two cities to support the development of civil aviation and trade between China and the UAE.

Uni-top Airlines will operate three flights per week between DWC and Kunming in China’s Yunnan province.

DWC is now home to 21 cargo operators that fly to as many as 46 destinations around the world. Last year, DWC handled 972,295 tonnes of freight, up 8.3 per cent compared to 897,998 tonnes recorded during 2016.
