The world’s largest courier company has reported a strong start to the year with better-than-expected results.
Deutsche Post DHL Group said EBIT tripled to about €1.9 billion for the first quarter of 2021, causing the company to raise its outlook for the financial year.
The good news was felt across all the company’s divisions, with B2C shipment volumes remaining high while B2B recovery continued. The good start to the year also represented a continuation of the company’s strong finish in Q4 2020.
