Ralf Schneider, President cargo-partner USA & Regional Director Americas, said:
“Customs regulations, procedures, and licences can change regularly, which is why we have continued to invest in our expert Customs Clearance Team, ensuring we remain proactive and up-to-date on all requirements.

“The USA team has held its customs and brokerage license for over six years, with an established team of brokerage specialists to support our customers in moving their cargo through borders confidently and legally. To better meet the growing demand for tailor-made customs services from our customers in the USA, we’ve recently appointed a new Customs Brokerage Product Manager, who brings over 30 years’ experience to our department.

“Whatever your business is wanting to trade or move, we can make sure that all customs checks and formalities are taken care of, reducing risk, managing costs and ensuring your cargo can successfully move through border controls and on to their final destinations.”

Licensed Customs Broker in the USA

Licensed customs brokers are responsible for preparing and submitting the necessary documentation, coordinating with customs officials, calculating duties and taxes, and facilitating the smooth movement of goods across international borders. To become a licensed customs broker in the USA, individuals must pass a rigorous examination administered by the CBP.
