Brexit set to be the hot topic at Multimodal 2018

The opportunities and challenges that Brexit presents and developing key performance indicators (KPIs) for air freight shippers are among the topics that will be discussed at Multimodal 2018 in Birmingham from 1-3 May.

Multimodal has once more teamed up with the Freight Transport Association (FTA), the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), and the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) to put together the conference programme.

Speakers from DB Schenker, Freightos, Cargo iQ, American Airlines, the FTA and the British International Freight Association (BIFA) will be leading the debate.

Over 300 exhibitors from across the logistics industry will take part, including Heathrow Airport, Kuehne + Nagel, Agility, Dachser, and Menzies Aviation.

Clarion Events logistics portfolio director, Robert Jervis said: “The implications of Brexit are still unclear, especially when it comes to transport and logistics, we want to make sure that our visitors get the advice they need from the best-in-class experts.

“Our seminar programme helps to explore issues and trends affecting the industry – the seminars are a great way to stay ahead of the curve.”

The fourth Freight Transport Association (FTA) Multimodal Awards will also take place during the event, with over 800 VIPs expected to attend a gala dinner on 1 May at the VOX Conference Centre.
