Atlas Air appoints Lute and Stamps to board of directors

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has elected Jane H. Lute and Sheila A. Stamps to the company’s board of directors.

The company says Lute is a recognised leader in the area of cybersecurity while Stamps is an accomplished business leader and has extensive executive experience in finance, accounting and risk management.

Lute is rresident and chief executive officer of SICPA North America and previously served as Deputy Secretary for the US Department of Homeland Security and is a member of several international commissions focused on cybersecurity and the future of the internet.

Stamps is a director of CIT Group and IES Abroad was executive vice president at Dreambuilder Investments, and has had a distinguished career at various financial institutions, including serving as managing director at Bank of America (formerly FleetBoston Financial Corporation).

Atlas Air Worldwide chairman of the board, Robert F. Agnew said: “Ms. Lute’s in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and information technology and Ms. Stamp’s diversity of strategic and financial experience make them welcome and highly qualified additions to our board of directors.
