AMI appoints new regional VPs Tibor Fodelmesi and Tony Utting

Airfreight wholesaler Air Menzies International (AMI) has named Tibor Fodelmesi, as its vice president Americas, and Tony Utting, of Europe, Middle East & Indian Sub-Continent.

Fodelmesi’s career spans 25 years, with posts held at several freight forwarders, including Seko Airfreight, MSAS Cargo International, DHL.

I am delighted to be part of the team at AMI and look forward to growing our business in the Americas,” said Fodelmesi.

Mr Utting also worked for DHL, for 16 years, most recently as vice president airfreight UK, before joining Uniserve as air freight commercial director.

Utting spoke of AMI chief executive Jonathan Clark: “Jonathan and his management team have built an outstanding business, which has been in the UK IATA top ten for many years. I look forward to building on this success and to expand the business further within the EMEI region.”

Tibor and Tony’s knowledge and experience will undoubtedly help us to grow our product offering and customer base within their respective regions.” Clark said of both new appointments.
