American Airlines Cargo has appointed Tim Isik as director of cargo sales in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

He is transitioning to cargo from the passenger sales team, where he led American’s leisure sales business across the UK, Ireland and Iceland.

Before joining the American team, he also worked for an experiential marketing agency, where he oversaw major product launches for global brands at the 2012 Olympics.

American Airlines Cargo VP sales, Roger Samways said: “Over the years, Tim’s hard work and passion for the airline industry has had a huge, positive impact on our business and the way we work with customers.

“His experience and focus on the customer experience makes him the ideal person to lead such an important and integral part of our operation.”

Tim is currently an active member of International Advisory Committee at the U.S. Embassy in London, and is a mentor on the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Ladders program. Tim received his degree in accounting and finance from Nottingham Trent University.
