Amazon will not use licenses to ship pharmaceuticals

Although it has long-since been rumored, Amazon has stated that it will not use pharmacy licenses obtained in the states of Tennessee and Indiana to sell and ship drug prescriptions.

It has been rumored for a while that Amazon would make gains in the sector of transporting pharmaceuticals, however Amazon offered a rebuttal to this.

Amazon has stated that it will use the licenses to sell medical devices and supplies instead.

Although the company is still passionate about making gains in healthcare, the company has said it will not “store or ship drugs.”
