Fraport, one of the leading players in the global airport business, has chosen Alha CoolBox™ as a premium solution for pharma / controlled-temperature air cargo operations in Frankfurt.
CoolBox is a brand new refrigerated dolly for tarmac transportation that creates a direct connection between the Pharma Centre and the Aircraft; powered by state of the art hybrid engines, CoolBox™ is the largest cool dolly on the market with a capacity of 2 main deck units (240cm) and two independent rooms with separate cooling systems.
Already used in Alha Cargo Terminals in Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino and tested between -20°C and +50°C, Coolbox can guarantee perfect temperature control even in extreme weather conditions.
The 2 refrigerated dollies have been delivered in Q3 2020 and will be deployed in Frankfurt Airport, where they will guarantee perfect temperature control during tarmac operations – all year round.
