Cargo revenues for airlines are predicted to hit a historic high of $152 billion in 2021, despite the significant reduction in global belly capacity.
New IATA research shows that as passenger aircraft remain mostly grounded, so cargo capacity has become constricted resulting in yields growing by 40 per cent in 2020, with another 5 per cent predicted for this year.
