Air France KLM Martinair (AFKLMP) Cargo has reintroduced Lusaka (Zambia) into its African freighter schedule after a three-year hiatus.
The connection is AFKLMP’s 13th freighter destination in Africa. It will operate a Boeing 747F on the sector once a week from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) from 3 September.
The first flight will depart from AMS on the AMS-Johannesburg (JNB)-Lusaka (LUN)- Harare (HRE)-Nairobi (NBO)-AMS routing.
In 2018, AFKLMP Cargo flew 1.1 million tonnes of cargo. In addition to its global network of passenger aircraft, it offers cargo main deck capacity on two Boeing 777 Fs, four Boeing 747-400Fs and five Boeing 747-400 Combi aircraft.
