A4 “Basic” Print Specifications and Advert Sizes

• All files should be in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), preferred PDF files from QuarkXPress or InDesign
• All transparency and layers flattened.
• Fonts should be embedded/subset and should be PostScript Type1, TrueType or OpenType
• CMYK Colour only (No spot / Pantone  colour or RGB colour)
• Magazine image resolution 300dpi
• Neither custom transfer functions nor custom halftones should be used
• Crop, Bleed and Trim marks must not be used, unless it is for a full page advert or double page spread.
• When creating a double page spread, please keep all important information 20mm from the centre-line due to binding.
• N.b. If the full page advert or double page spread could be mistaken for editorial, it has to state ‘Promotional feature’ or ‘Advertorial’on the top of the advert.

Single Page Adverts

	Full Page Trim: W 210mm x H 297mm Bleed: W 216mm x H 303mm 3mm all round
	Half Page Trim: W 186mm x H 120mm Bleed: None
	Quarter Page Vertical Trim: W 186mm x H 85mm Bleed: None

Double Page Adverts

	Double Page Spread Trim: W 420mm x H 297mm Bleed: W 426mm x H 303mm 3mm all round
	Half Page Double Page Spread Trim: W 420mm x H 148mm Bleed: W 426mm x H 154mm 3mm all round

If you would like to have your advert designed by EVA, please note there will be a charge of £500.

 

All artwork created by EVA is to be used only in EVA publications. If you would like to use any artwork created by EVA elsewhere, please contact the sales manager.
