Management shake-up at Leisure Cargo

Germany-based Leisure Cargo has announced that Ralf-Rainer Ausländer took over the management of the company on 6 August as part of a shake-up.

It will also revealed that previous managing directors Klaus Sieger and Thilo Schäfer will leave at the end of September and “devote themselves to new tasks”.

Leisure Cargo is a subsidiary of Zeitfracht Luftfahrt Holding who took it over in October last year following the collapse of parent Air Berlin. It provides ‘total air cargo management’ for 14 international and regional leisure airlines collaborating with sales agents, handling agents and trucking companies.

Airlines it provides cargo management for include Estonian airline Nordica which it started with in July and others include Blue Air and TUI.

Zeitfracht managing director, Wolfram Simon said: “With Ralf-Rainer Ausländer we are pleased to have once again gained an experienced managing director and proven freight expert for Leisure Cargo who will consistently continue the path towards the expansion of the customer portfolio and digitalisation.”
