Leisure Cargo joins the cargo.one platform

Leisure Cargo has joined the cargo.one platform – which gives freight forwarders the chance to book capacity at live spot rates with immediate confirmation.

The user interface of cargo.one provides routing information, as well as capacity dependent live spot rates.

The platfor visualises hundreds of options per routing means customers can identify the most suitable offers, and all offers are based on available capacities and live spot rates, which can be booked directly in real-time.

Leisure Cargo managing director, Wolfram Simon said: “With the connection to cargo.one as the world’s first platform that allows booking at dynamic spot rates with immediate confirmation, we now offer our customers even better possibilities to place bookings efficiently with us.

“The cooperation with cargo.one will lead to an acceleration and streamlining of booking processes for customers in our time-critical industry. We are particularly pleased to see that renowned freight forwarders actively requested cargo.one’s solution and were happy to use it in previous tests.”

Established in January 2000, Leisure Cargo is a total cargo management provider, without a fleet of its own, but with access to the cargo capacities of some 14 carriers including Blue Air, which was added in 1 June this year.
