Emirates SkyCargo has received the 2018 Carrier Award for Reliability and Excellence (CARE) by DHL Global Forwarding for the transportation of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals.
The award was picked up by Emirates senior vice president for cargo operations worldwide, Henrik Ambak, at the 18th Global Life Sciences & Healthcare Conference organised by DHL at Baveno, Italy.
Emirates SkyCargo said the DHL CARE award “recognises air cargo carriers who offer exceptional service, quality, ground handling and innovative technologies and processes for pharmaceutical shipments”.
Over the last three years, the carrier has invested in the development of cutting-edge infrastructure and a sophisticated suite of services for the secure transportation of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals across its network of 160 destinations in six continents.
