Delta Air Lines Cargo has appointed Lindsey Jalil as managing director (MD) for commercial – a role previously held by Kristin Colvile – who was recently promoted to chief executive officer and MD for the SkyTeam.
Effective from 1 June, Jalil will lead Delta Cargo’s commercial activities including: alliances, distribution, marketing and communications, products, technology, reporting and revenue management.
Delta Cargo vice president, Shawn Cole said: “Lindsey’s strong analytical skills will continue the commercial team’s momentum by championing enhanced reporting tools and technology, as well as the introduction of new industry leading products and services.
“She joins the team at an exciting time as Delta continues to grow its foothold and network internationally, and build closer collaboration with our global partners.”
Jalil joined Delta in 2005. For the past eight years, she has been part of the operations analysis and performance (OAP) team; as MD since 2015, and implemented data management systems and supported Delta’s operating divisions with insights and tools to sustain Delta’s operational performance.
Prior to OAP, Lindsey held roles in revenue management and was cargo’s manager for revenue forecasting during the Delta and Northwest merger.
