New IAG Cargo Dublin-Seattle route set for take-off

IAG Cargo’s new freight route from Dublin Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport will start on Friday (18 May) when the Aer Lingus belly service takes-off.

The Irish carrier will operate an Airbus A330-200 on the route four times week and each rotation will have a payload of 16 tonnes.

IAG Cargo expects to move a range of commodities between the US west coast and Ireland including aerospace, high-tech, pharma and seasonal perishable payloads.

Much of the freight arriving into Dublin will then be transferred on Aer Lingus services into London and other destinations and through the IAG Cargo network, which includes British Airways, Iberia, Vueling and Level.
